This is one of my most enlightening discoveries because I’ve always wondered why I had so many unfinished songs sitting in Sibelius never seeing the light of day(sorry Bravely Default). I finally came to the realization that I cannot transcribe what I can’t play. This game is sooo good, I had to choose between playing and transcribing this song. My life would be very different without this hobby. I used to feel so guilty about spending so much time doing this instead of anything productive, and now I have my “productive stuff” settled, I don’t have any time for my hobby, haha. What I thought was a one time thing turned into almost a full time gig. I’ve been so busy recently that I forgot to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Echo Variation, here’s a little history.Ī year a go I started transcribing in order to… escape from reality (school, career, life etc) and to play that ONE song I wanted from Chaos Rings II. This is one of my favorite themes and I so glad everyone voted for it 😀 The part with “restoring the light, facing the dark” starting at 1:10 is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to transcribe yet, I so glad I was able to over come this difficulty.
